Help us get on the road!
By supporting our fund raiser, you will be helping us to get the Wandering Sanctuary on the road. Literally. We have raised £8,000 from an initial crowd funding round, and are now seeking to raise another £20,000 to be able to get the mobile sensory room on the road and being used by autistic people and others with sensory needs across Devon.
What are we using the money for?
The £8,000 we have already raised is going to be used to buy a trailer and refurbish it ready for the sensory kit. The £20,000 we are now looking to raise will pay for the sensory kit and its installation, and insurance, training etc. that we need to be able to start using it.
When are we aiming to raise it?
Our goal is to get the mobile sensory room up and running as quickly as possible, so we’ll be making use of the money we raise to move the project along as we raise it. We know there are plenty of people across Devon who will benefit from the Wandering Sanctuary, and Freya is keen to bring it to life as part of her own ongoing work to increase her resilience, improve her mental health and build a life for herself beyond her current struggles.
